Directions

Camp Wilbur Herrlich is located in Patterson, New York. Patterson is on the eastern edge of Putnam County, near Carmel and Brewster. Danbury is just over the NY/CT border in Connecticut. Major North/South highways that intersect with Route 84 are Route 684, the Taconic State Parkway, which is east of the Hudson River, and the New York State Thruway which is west of the Hudson. The Newburgh/Beacon Bridge will get you over the Hudson and directly onto Route 84. All directions lead you to the camp from Route 84, a major East/West highway.

Interstate Highway 84 to Exit 18 (Route 311, Lake Carmel/Patterson)

Traveling from the West (Upstate NY, Pennsylvania):
Make a left at the stop sign at the end of the ramp. Go 3/4 of a mile to the first right hand turn which is Fair Street. After turning right onto Fair Street, make an immediate left onto Deacon Smith Hill Road. The Camp is on the right at the bottom of the hill.

Traveling from the East (Downstate NY, Conn, Mass, NY Airports):
Make a right at the stop sign at the bottom of the ramp. Go about 3/4 of a mile to the first right hand turn which is Fair Street. After turning right onto Fair Street, make an immediate left onto Deacon Smith Hill Road. The Camp is on the right at the bottom of the hill.
