Registration forms for School Age Programs

The registration form is now UNIVERSAL for all of our School Age Child Care programs, so if you are registering for Before School AND After School, you only need to fill one registration form out and check off the appropriate boxes.

Camp Herrlich and the Carmel and Pawling Central School Districts are proud to collaborate to help our children learn and grow.

Program Highlights

Facilities

The Advantage After School Program will offer services at Matthew Paterson Elementary School, Kent Elementary School, and Pawling Elementary School. The use of the school facilities will offer a wealth of exciting and educational opportunities for your child including: Playground Facilities, Computer Lab, Library, Arts and Crafts, Homework and Tutoring Areas, new and creative ways to use the outdoors and more!!!

Activities

The Camp Herrlich After School Program Activities include: A guaranteed 45 minutes of Homework Time Mondays through Thursdays, Computer Time, Library Study, Field Games, Arts & Crafts, Group Games, Movies, Special Speakers and Presenters, Violence Prevention Workshop and Activities, Enrichment clubs in a variety of subjects, and Personal and Educational Growth Opportunities!

Many of you are familiar with the care and attention given to children in our summer and educational programs. Just imagine what our staff can achieve in the after school setting. The Camp Herrlich After School Program will provide a safe and secure environment for your child. A ratio of one trained staff member to a maximum of ten children will be maintained. Nutritious snacks will be served daily. The Camp Herrlich After School Program will also be open for extended hours when schools close for scheduled half days.

Program Tuition

The Camp Herrlich After School Program is a five day a week program which provides academic and personal support and education for students. The program runs Monday through Friday for the school calendar year. First month's tuition must be paid prior to program start date. Thereafter billing will be processed on a monthly basis, one month in advance.

***All children will be admitted to the Camp Herrlich After School Program on a first come-first served basis***

Organization Information

Camp Herrlich is operated by Mount Tremper Outdoor Ministries, Inc. (MTOM), a nonprofit, non-sectarian organization. MTOM has provided enriching youth experiences, including environmental education program, summer and vacation camping, weekend retreats and a variety of other programs for more than twenty-five years. Our reputation for quality, safe programming is evident from our nomination for the prestigious Presidential Service Award, a national honor recognizing those organizations that make a lasting contribution to the American community. References from those that have attended our array of programs are available upon request.

MTOM has a permit to operate from the New York State Department of Health. MTOM also has a permit to operate a school-aged child care program from the New York State Office of Children and Family Services and the Child Care Council of Dutchess and Putnam. MTOM is a New York State B.O.C.E.S. certified environmental education center and is accredited by the American Camping Association.
